Portfolio disclaimer
What the independent examples show, and what they do not establish.
1. The purpose of these graphics
Trent Lynn Bowman presents a freelance focus on maps and wayfinding graphics under the responsible identity TRENT LYNN BOWMAN, at 255 Valley Loop, Heber Springs, AR 72543-8826, United States. The pages introduce graphic design ideas through original examples and invite a conversation about a possible brief. They are not a live navigation service, a source of surveying data or confirmation that a site has been inspected. The website terms and any later project agreement cover different matters. A portfolio image cannot establish the accuracy or approval status of material supplied for a separate commission.
2. Imagined locations and routes
Cedar Loop, Junction Hall and Ridge Notes use fictional places, route markers and sample information. They are independent concepts rather than maps commissioned by a park, gallery or authority. Their drawings should not be followed for a real journey or treated as a building layout, emergency plan or accessibility assessment. No client relationship, installation history or specialist credential is asserted through the studies. The visual notes explain line weight, grouping and hierarchy within the imagined brief, not findings about actual land or premises.
3. Checks required in real use
Operational use needs verified base material and review appropriate to the place and audience. Routes, entrances, names, distances, access conditions, hazards and accessibility can change or require specialist judgement. A simplified graphic can make information readable while omitting detail that is essential for another purpose. The parties should identify who supplies and approves those facts before publication. Do not infer safety certification, engineering review or an ongoing update service from the clear appearance of a symbol, route line or legend.
4. Production and rights
A panel read outdoors and a diagram read on a phone have different physical and technical conditions. Size, contrast, material, placement and supplier specifications need to be considered for a real output. The displayed concept does not approve an installation or guarantee legibility in every environment. Source plans, imagery and geographic datasets can also have licence or confidentiality restrictions. Permission to use each component and responsibility for final approval should be established, rather than assumed from the portfolio’s public availability.
5. Contact tools and website availability
The enquiry page creates an email draft that you can review. It neither transmits an automatic message nor books a design visit or takes a payment. Sending and delivery depend on the mail services used after leaving the preview. Hosting, network and browser conditions can interrupt access to the portfolio itself. A question or error report should identify the relevant study and context without including private security information. No response deadline, acceptance of a brief or guarantee of continuous service is created by displaying the contact route.
6. How this notice relates to an agreement
These limitations describe the portfolio as published on 2 November 2026. They do not substitute for the scope of a real map engagement or remove protections that the law requires. Consult the Terms, Privacy policy and Cancellations and refunds policy for their particular subjects. An agreed commission should address sources, approvals, output and responsibility expressly. For a question about using an example, contact [email protected] and describe the intended use; do not assume a downloadable image grants unrestricted commercial permission.
